Description

Data Hub Central is the user interface for MarkLogic Data Hub Service that makes it easier than ever for a team of data experts to collaborate in the data integration process. In this demo you will see Hub Central in action as it is used to load, model, map, master, and explore data quickly and easily in the cloud.

Load
Description

Data Hub Central makes it easy to load your data as-is from a variety of sources without the need for you to spend a large amount of time doing data modeling first. In this hands-on video you will see how to configure and run load steps to bring data in from JSON and CSV files, and then to use the Explore capability of Hub Central to discover that data.

 

Model
Description

Data Hub Central makes it easy to create and manage the data model for key business objects, or entities. With MarkLogic, you add this model to your project in short iterations in order to deliver on requirements that the business needs to have met right now. You will learn to create an entity model, define properties, manage access to PII, and create reusable structured data types.

 

Curate
Description

Data Hub Central makes it easy to curate your data in an iterative and agile way. The process of data curation is designed to make it faster for teams to integrate data by enabling them to easily map diverse sources of data to entity models and to master that data by intelligently identifying and merging duplicates. Explore
Description

Data Hub Central makes it easy to discover and use your data through the built in Explore interface. And in the case of the example shown in this tutorial, because of how we modeled the Customer entity and curated the data, simply providing our Data Analysts access to the Explore interface will enable their requirements to be met. Run
Description

Data Hub Central makes it easy to run the flows and steps that you configure in order to load and curate your data. You can easily do this using the Hub Central interface, as well as using other tools and connectors like Gradle, Apache NiFi, Apache Spark, MuleSoft, and AWS Glue.
