It is designed to quickly teach you the core fundamentals as you explore what MarkLogic is, how to install and configure MarkLogic, how to create a database, how to load and query data, and how to connect to a database via programming interfaces.

System Requirements:
In order to complete the hands-on exercises in this course we provide you with a virtual machine. To run the virtual machine, you will need a 64-bit computer that has 16 GB or more of RAM, 60 GB or more of free disk space, Internet access, VirtualBox (or equivalent), Acrobat Reader (or equivalent, for viewing PDF files), and file unzip capability. Video tutorials are provided to guide you through setting up the VM.
